The Tulip is a genus of deciduous flower favored by gardeners worldwide. The large flower opens with six petals which bloom spectacularly. With the exception of pure blue, the flowers come in a wide assortment of colors, including a range of whites, yellows, oranges, pinks, and reds. Grown from bulbs or seeds, the perennial flowering plants are often associated with the Dutch, Holland and the Netherlands.
